Honestly, when informed about the vision behind the collection, I began to wonder how practical any adult would look wearing My Little Pony without looking like a certified weirdo. Once upon a time My Little Pony was a prominent figure in my toy collection, but those days are over. So I was quite excited to experience a presentation that was inspired by it. Elsaesser used her signature bold colors with contrasting prints, as the models stood and sat casually.

Rainbow colored hair was an essential feature by “It” girl and leading artist Mischa G, who guided the Bumble and Bumble team to create a rainbow of sleek patterns on each model, resembling My Little Pony. While the glam was directed by acclaimed makeup artist Melissa Gibson at M.A.C Cosmetics who created a rainbow effect of shadows on each model. The versatility of Elsaesser’s collection reveals it’s all about excitement, artistic prints and being comfortable with your inner pony.
